I came to know that Britain is taking adequate preventive measures against the bird flu disease. Can you give the details regarding what steps are being taken by them?

Yes, Britain is gearing up to take preventive steps to safeguard the country by taking measures for Bird flu protectionThe sources have so far revealed that the country was buying 14.6 million courses of the anti-viral drug Tamiflu as part of a contingency plan against a human pandemic sparked by bird flu. The drugs although might not be enough to treat about one quarter of the population and will not prevent an influenza pandemic but the health officials believe the stocks should be enough to restrict a further spread.
